Employee's Finger Is Partially Amputated by Corrugator Rolls

At 7:45 a.m. on October 6, 2010, Employee #1, who was employed by a container manufacturing company, was performing his normal work duties as a single-facing corrugating paper board machine operator. Employee was cleaning the glue roll, when the rag he was holding was pulled into the in-running nip point. Employee #1's hand was subsequently caught in between the glue and corrugator rolls, and his finger was partially amputated. Employee #1 was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for treatment of his injury, and he was hospitalized.
