Investigation Summary
At approximately 2:15 p.m. on June 27, 2010, Employee #1 was clearing the jam in an Apricot Halver/Pitter & Shaker Feeder Machine. The index finger on her right hand got caught and crushed in the feeder section. The employee was taken to the local hospital, where her finger was partially surgically amputated because it could not be saved. Employee #1 was not hospitalized.
