Employee Fractures Leg When Struck by Bull

At approximately 9:20 a.m. on April 28, 2009, Employee #1, a dairy farm laborer, was cleaning a water trough set between two corrals for JVD Dairy in Hanford, CA. He went into one of the pens where a bull was housed. The bull came up behind him and struck him, fracturing his right leg. He underwent surgical procedures and treatment at a medical center and was hospitalized for observation.
