Employee Is Killed When Crushed by Loader

At approximately 9:30 a.m. on November 11, 2009, Employee #1 was at a transfer station unloading material from a trailer that was hitched to a pickup truck. This was a routine task for Employee #1, who owned a company that hauled material associated with the renovation of his rental property. He was struck and killed by a Caterpillar 966 Wheel Loader that was backing. No weather-related factors contributed to the accident.
