Employee's Finger Is Amputated in Machine

On October 21, 2008, Employee #1 was installing a three-point hitch on a planter. Employee #1 couldn't get the holes to line up properly so he put his finger in the hole to figure out what was causing the problem, when an unspecified part slipped and came down on his finger. Employee #1's left index finger was amputated at the first knuckle. Employee #1 was taken to the hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
