Employee Thrown Off Ladder

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on August 24, 2012, Employee #1 was standing on an 8 foot frame ladder and operating a reciprocating saw. He was cutting nails off a beam when the reciprocating saw bound up and caused him to fall approximately 5 feet onto his back. A coworker witnessed the accident and asked for 911 to be called. Employee #1 was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where he was treated for broken ribs and a punctured lung.
