Employee's Finger Tip Is Amputated in Running Machine

On July 16, 2010, Employee #1, a packing worker, was changing over a line from one type of chip to another on a conveyor. He turned the line off to clean it and then had to stand on his toes to reach the handle to pull it back down into the "on" position. Right after turning it on, he lost his balance and started to fall. He reached out with his left hand to catch himself and amputated his pinky fingertip.
