Employee Is Injured in Fall from Ladder

On March 3, 2009, Employee #1, a utility worker, was cleaning gutters at a high school, using a 10-ft stepladder to access the roof. He was wearing a Husqvarna gas powered leaf blower. As Employee #1 attempted to descend from the roof, the blower wand became caught on the gutter. He lost his balance, and fell approximately 11 feet off the roof. He was hospitalized for his injuries.
