One Employee Is Killed, Seven Are Injured in Collision

On September 1, 2008, a tractor trailer was following behind a farm truck that was pulling two tobacco trailers. The farm truck was making a left-hand turn onto Maxwell Mill Road. As the tractor trailer went around the farm truck, it crossed a double yellow line and collided with the farm truck and trailers. One migrant farm worker was killed and seven were injured in the crash.
