Employee Falls from Ladder

At approximately 3:15 p.m. on June 14, 2010, Employee #1 climbed a 24 ft extension ladder to go up onto a single story house, to nail down plywood which was already loaded on the roof. As Employee #1 raised his right foot onto the roof, he tripped over plywood when lifting his left foot onto the roof. Employee #1 fell onto cement, injuring his left side. Employee #1 was working alone so he called his employer. He then called a friend who picked him up and took him to the county Medical Center where he was admitted and later released, Employee #1 suffered multiple fractures to his left leg.
