Investigation Summary
Employee #1 and a coworker were hydro-cleaning 6-in. sewer lines. Employee #1 raised the sewer access cover and immediately became ill. Employee #1 initially refused treatment, returned to the maintenance yard and finished his shift there and went home. Employee #1 was taken to the local hospital by his spouse and was admitted for treatment.
