Investigation Summary
On April 7, 2008, an employee was working from a scissor lift while setting metal trusses, and the truss shifted downward, pinning his left arm between the 3,000 lb truss and the scissor lift. This eventually resulted in amputation of the left forearm. The employee was hospitalized and treated for an amputation of arm.
