Employee Falls from Cliff, Later Dies

On March 13, 2009, Employee #1, a Ski Patrol, was working/skiing in an area called Spacewalk in Rock Springs Canyon. The Spacewalk in Rock Springs Canyon was located south of the resort boundary. While traveling through the area, the employee slipped off an edge/cliff to a lower level. She survived the fall and was transported to the hospital for treatment. Employee #1 died six days later.
