Employee Is Killed in Traffic Accident While Mowing Grass

On August 26, 2008, an employee was mowing East bound on the South side of CR 300 N when he was struck from behind by a full size van heading East. The mower was a full size John Deere tractor with the mower deck lowered. Sheriff officers on site reported the orange triangle warning sign was in place and the amber strobe light on top of the tractor cab was operating. The employee was killed.
