Employee Fractures Leg in Fall from Ladder

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on December 15, 2008, Employee #1, working for a houseboat and cabin rental resort, was working from a "Little Giant" ladder system and was trying to cover a swamp cooler. The ladder slipped and the employee fell approximately 7 feet. He fractured his right leg and was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Redding, CA, where he was hospitalized for two days. Further investigation revealed that the ground was icy on the day of the accident.
