Employee Amputates Finger While Cleaning Machine

Employee #1 was opening the muffin machine for cleaning. While removing the plastic tube Employee #1 placed her finger on the slide and closed the slide against the frame of the machine. The tip of her index finger was amputated. Employee #1 was treated but was not hospitalized.
