Employee Is Killed When Caught Between Trailer and Load

Employee #1, a truck driver, was positioning a flatbed trailer truck for loading inside building B at Bay Number 2. Another employee, a trainee truck driver, was a passenger in the truck. A decision was made to switch drivers and allow the trainee to position the truck and Employee #1 to spot and flag the truck into position. The other employee lost sight of Employee #1 while backing, and caught Employee #1 in between the truck and the steel bundles. Employee #1 was killed.
