Employee's fingers amputated in roll forming machine

At approximately 2:50 p.m. on September 27, 2007, Employee #1 was operating a roll forming machine when two fingers on his left hand contacted the unguarded machine blades and were amputated. He was airlifted to Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA, where he was treated and released two days later.
