Employee Is Injured and Later Dies from Fall

On October 20, 2010, Employee #1, a female nurse, was working on a blood mobile for the Red Cross and was standing near the front entrance door. Witnesses said Employee #1 suddenly fell backwards out of the door and hit her head on a curb. Employee #1 was airlifted to a hospital where she died 20 days later after being taken off life support.
