Employee's Fingers Are Amputated in Cutting Machine

On June 12, 2008, Employee #1 and a coworker were trouble-shooting a malfunction of the bean cutters the company uses in sizing carrots. The coworker energized the machine, without knowing Employee #1 had his hand in the cutting section. Employee #1 suffered amputation of four fingers on his right hand.
