Employee gets hand caught between chain and sprocket resulti

At 9:00 AM, on July 16, 2008, employee #1, a mechanic with Wawona Frozen Foods Company got injured. Employee #1 had made a repair on a chain drive. He re-powered the system and it was running fine. Then attempted to put the guard back on the chain drive and caught his right thumb, amputating the tip. He was transported to Clovis Community Hospital.
