Employee's Finger Amputated Between Rope and Saddle

At approximately 8:30 a.m. on September 26, 2007, Employee #1, a cowboy at a cattle ranch, was roping a steer. He was wrapping the rope around the saddle horn and trapped his finger between the rope and horn. He received a severe injury to his right middle finger tip which was amputated at the hospital.
