Employee Is Injured in Fall from Ladder While Painting

On April 19, 2007, Employee #1 was using a paint roller with an extension handle to paint the facial board of a new residence. He was working on a metal extension ladder, approximately 20 ft high. While he was dipping the roller into the paint bucket on the ground and straining off the excess, he lost his balance and fell to the ground. He was transported to Fresno Community Hospital, where he was treated for facial lacerations, bruises, sprained arm and possible back injury. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
