Investigation Summary
On February 12, 2007, an employee was standing on the ground cutting a piece of plywood. At the same time, a plumber was working on a steel truss lifting the pipe hanger, weighing about 40 lbs, and lost grip of the hanger. It fell and bounced off the truss he was standing on then fell approximately 52 feet to the ground striking employee standing on the ground. The employee was killed.
