Employee Is Struck by Forklift and Rendered Unconscious

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on April 12, 2007, Employee #1 was attracting the attention of a coworker to replace her on the line. As Employee #1 waved at the coworker, a forklift came into the area to retrieve a pallet of empty cases. As the forklift went by Employee #1, the back rest on the mast struck Employee #1, knocking her down and rendering her unconscious. Employee #1 sustained bruises and abrasions but was not hospitalized.
