Employee's Hip Is Fractured When Struck by Falling Mold

At approximately 9:54 p.m. on March 18, 2009, Employee #1, a setup technician, was in the process of removing a 2,091 pound mold off a blow molding machine, a Sterling, Serial Number 91085. The unsecured, unblocked mold shifted and dropped on Employee #1, pinning him under the mold. He was hospitalized with a fractured hip.
