Employee Suffers Head Fracture in Fall from Scaffold

At approximately 12:45 p.m. 0n July 31, 2008, Employee #1 was working in an alcove located approximately 15 ft above grade between the face of the building and a facade that protrudes 31.5 in. off of the front building. Employee #1 was standing on a makeshift scaffold built 30-in. high on the alcove floor. Employee #1 reached over to grab a saw from another employee working on an adjacent roof. Employee #1 fell 17-ft 5-in. to the dirt ground. Employee #1 fractured his head and was hospitalized.
