Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:00 p.m. on December 21, 2007, Employee #1 was working on a job remodeling a horse barn. Employee #1 was digging a trench (approximately 18 in. deep) for plumbing. A steel framed wall (12-ft by 8-ft, weighing approximately about 750 lbs) was leaning on a wall of the horse barn. While Employee #1 was kneeling down working in the trench to dig under the foundation for plumbing, the partition wall fell on his lower back. Employee #1 fractured his pelvis and right hip, which required hospitalization for two days.
