Employee Fractures Leg in Fall from Ladder

At approximately 10:24 a.m. on February 15, 2008, Employee #1 was working from a 20-foot extension ladder servicing a light sensor at a bowling center. As Employee #1 was standing on the ladder about 8 feet from the ground, applying tape over the elevated light sensor, the ladder tipped. Employee #1 got his left ankle caught in one of the ladder rungs and fell, striking the concrete ground. Employee #1 was taken to a nearby medical facility, where he was hospitalized and treated for a fractured leg.
