Employee Amputates Finger with Fan Blade

On September 5, 2007, an employee was setting up to vent a water tank before painting. One of the fans the blade was hitting the guard. The employee tired to pull the guard away from the blade without unplugging the fan and was hit by the blade amputating the right index finger tip. The employee was not hospitalized.
