Employee Injures Hand While Repairing Conveyor

On April 16, 2007, Employee #1, a mechanic, was attempting to retrack a conveyor belt by pulling the conveyor belt over with his hands while it was running. The mechanic's left hand was caught by the conveyor belt's lacing and his hand/arm was pulled up into the belts rollers. Employee #1 sustained a deep hand laceration and a fractured finger but was not hospitalized.
