Employee Is Injured in Fall from Platform

On July 11, 2007, an employee was instructed to clean and prepare one of the machines on Number 2 platform so they could paint it. For unknown reasons, he went to platform Number 3, which had a higher platform and began cleaning. The employee got close to the edge of the balcony and fell approximately 20-ft.. The employee suffered blunt force head trauma, neck and back injures (not specified), leg injuries, dislocated left knee and fractured right ankle. The employee was taken to L.A. County USC, where he was hospitalized and treated for his injuries.
