Nurse Falls, Fractures Hip in Hospital Ambulatory Care Unit

Around 11:00 a.m. on January 23, 2008, a licensed practical nurse (LVN), was working with patient in hospital Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU Cubicle Number One). She turned to the nurses' station, caught shoe on floor, and fell, breaking her left hip. She went to the emergency room that day, had surgery, and was hospitalized for four days.
