Employee Is Struck by Falling Cow, Fractures Leg

At approximately 12:30 p.m. on November 23, 2007, Employee #1 was part of a crew that was sorting cow-calf pairs to transport to pasture land off-site. The corral where they were processing the pairs was wet and muddy causing a cow to slip into Employee #1, knocking them both onto the ground. The cow rolled back onto its feet, pressing on Employee #1, and breaking his right leg just below the knee. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
