Investigation Summary
Employee #1, a woodworker and shop supervisor, was cutting a wide piece of hard, maple wood using a table saw. As Employee #1 was pushing the material through the blade, wearing synthetic leather gloves, his left gloved hand was caught by the blade and he sustained lacerations to his left hand and all fingers. Employee #1 was not hospitalized.
