Employee's Hand Is Injured When Crushed in Machine

Employee #1 reached beyond the gate of a machine to mark parts, when his right hand became caught between the lift for the piston and springs and the frame. His hand was crushed and his thumb was nearly amputated but he did not require hospitalization for his injuries.
