Employee Amputates Finger While Clearing Machine

At approximately 11:50 a.m. on June 6, 2006, Employee #1, a machine operator, was clearing chips from a part being manufactured. As he cleared the chips, he placed his hand in the point of operation and his finger was caught by the machine and was amputated. Employee #1 was hospitalized for his injury.
