Employee's Wrist Is Fractured in Fall from Ladder

On March 22, 2007, Employee #1 placed a 24 ft extension ladder on a sidewalk after placing plastic sheeting and newspaper between the feet of the ladder and the sidewalk. He then placed it against the eave of a house. The height of the eave was 8.33 ft and the ladder was not secured to the house. He fell from the ladder fracturing his wrist and was hospitalized.
