Employee Falls from Broken Ladder, Receives Injuries

On December 1, 2010, Employee #1 was preparing to paint the upper eves of an exterior building office. He went up a secured 10 ft metal ladder, but the ladder broke into two. He fell approximately 7 ft onto hardwood floors. Employee #1 sustained contusions on his forehead. He was transported to a medical center. At the medical center, he received treatment and was released after approximately three hours.
