Employee's Back and Wrist Fractured in Fall from Ladder

At approximately 6:20 a.m. on September 12, 2009, Employee #1, working at a metal recycling yard, was inspecting equipment. He was climbing down a ladder, which was wet. His foot slipped and he tried to grab the handle and missed. He fell approximately 6 ft, landing on his back. He was hospitalized with a fractured wrist and back.
