Employee Is Hit by Falling Shelves

On December 1, 2007, Employee #1 was moving a shelf that was nine feet tall and four feet wide. Employee #1 put the shelf aside, against a wall, while waiting for the elevator. The shelf fell on Employee #1's lower legs, creating blood clots in both extremities. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
