Employee Amputates Finger in Grinding Machine

On March 31, 2007, an employee was operating the Grinding Machine Number SA-121-BD/EO992. The employee had taken the front covers off the machine while attending to a jam. With her hand on the shoot, the shutter moved and caused an amputation the first knuckle on the right hand pinky finger. The employee was not hospitalized.
