Employee Is Killed When Crushed by Load of Mixed Lumber

At approximately 7:00 a.m. on February 14, 2008, Employee #1, a truck driver, was delivering a load of mixed lumber, a pallet of nails, and fasteners to a construction site of a new home. While he was unloading the truck, the load of mixed lumber came loose and slid off the rear driver's side of the truck. Employee #1 was knocked down by the 7,772 pound load, crushing him. Employee #1 was killed.
