Employee Amputates Finger in Electric Router

On March 30, 2007, an employee, a metal worker was cutting a piece of extruded aluminum 'Beauty Caps' with a table-mounted Bosch electric router. The employee's left little finger tip was amputated when it contacted the router blade as he was pushing the material to make the notches. The point of operation was not provided with a guard. The employee was not hospitalized.
