Employee Dies from Previous Medical Condition

At approximately 2:30 a.m. on September 8, 2006, Employee #1, a materials handler, reported that she felt dizzy and then fainted, falling to the floor. Employee #1 was taken to Long Beach Memorial Hospital, where she was hospitalized and treated for diabetic mellitus, hemorrhaging, hypertension, and respiratory failure. Employee #1 later died due to complications.
