Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:37 p.m. on December 3, 2009, Employee #1 was conducting an inspection of the scupper drains located around the top edge of Nuclear Refueling building Number 1539. During his inspection, he lost his balance and fell from the roof approximately 39.81 ft to the ground. He was transported to Norfolk Sentara General Hospital, where he died from injuries related to the fall.
