Employee Falls Through Unguarded Skylight, Sustains Fracture

At approximately 12:45 p.m. on October 9, 2006, Employee #1 and a coworker were applying sealant to a leaking roof. Employee #1 stepped onto an unguarded skylight which broke under his weight. Employee #1 fell approximately 18 ft to the floor sustaining unspecified fractures resulting in permanent injuries. The employees were not provided with any type of fall protection. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
