Employee Dies from Heart Attack

On September 19, 2005, Employee #1, an equipment operator, was applying a hot mix to a new subdivision street. Employee #1 was running a Barber-Greene Paver. He took a break and while waiting for more materials to be delivered, he exited the machine to speak with co-workers. He suddenly fell to his knees and passed out. The co-workers attempted to revive him, however with no response. Employee #1 was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was revived by the doctors. He was put on a respirator and evaluated for brain activity. Two days later Employee #1 suffered a massive heart attack and died.
