Summary Nr: 201635240Event: 04/09/2005Employee Is Killed Shile Installing Camera On Aerial Lift
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on April 9, 2005, Employee #1 was installing security camera's over a Terminal loading Door, while using an aerial platform. While leaning over the top rail and operating the controls, the platform raised and he hit his head on an over hang. It continued upward while he was either dazed or unconscious, subsequently crushing him between the overhang and the top rail of the basket. Employee #1 was killed.
