Investigation Summary
Employee #1, working for Tony Parr Logging in New Hope, AR, was manually felling trees. At the time of the incident, Employee #1 had manually felled several trees and one tree became lodged into another tree. Employee #1 proceeded to fell another tree, which came in contact with the lodged tree. As a result, the lodged tree was shot out sideways, striking Employee #1 on his back and pinning his right foot. Employee #1 was pronounced dead at the scene.
